Desean D. Howard, a 35-year-old Trenton resident, was arrested after Bensalem police conducted a "controlled buy" on the 3600 block of Street Road on Tuesday, March 28, the department said.

Detectives with the department's Special Investigations Unit said they received information that Howard was selling heroin and fentanyl at businesses along Street Road "over the past few months." At the time of his arrest, officers claimed the 35-year-old had 160 baggies of suspected drugs in his possession, as well as cash and a cell phone.

Howard was charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of a communications facility, and drug paraphernalia, according to BPD.

He was remanded to the Bucks County lockup in lieu of 10 percent of a $300,000 bond, and is due back in court for a preliminary hearing on April 6, court records show.
